Using the camera app on our iPads

 Kia ora koutou,

As part of our Cybersmart learning, we have been talking about our Kawa of Care.  Our Kawa of Care helps us to understand the important things we need to do to take good care of our iPads.  We have created these slides to help us to remember the things we need to do to be smart learners when looking after our iPads so that they are always ready for us to do our learning on.

This week we are using the camera app on our iPads to take clear photos.

To take a clear photo, we know we need to:

  • Place our iPad on our table
  • Find one green thing
  • Sit on the floor with our iPad and our green thing
  • Hold our iPad with the cover down and two hands on our iPad
  • Focus on our green object using our camera
  • Delete any photos that are not clear and take another one
Here are our photos of green things today:

Kia ora e te whānau

 Kia ora everyone!

We are a class of 19 learners at Riverdale School in Gisborne.

Where is Riverdale School? Check out our video below to see where we are on Google Earth!

Our teacher's name is Kōkā Mahora.

Some of the things we enjoy doing in our class are kanikani and waiata. Especially the Troll Dance. We like learning! Some of us like playing 'Tackle Rugby' outside. We like playing and swimming. We like maths too!

Today we were doing some learning on our ipads.  We were learning to hug and hold our iPads to carry them and take photos.

Here are some photos of us.

Nau mai, haere mai

Welcome to our class blog.

We look forward to sharing our learning with our school,

our whānau and friends everywhere.
